Just today, my oh-so-dear friend reminded me we had exams in bout a month…

Despite the fact I procrastinate all day( in case you didn’t realize, procrastination does take some work, it ain’t easy you know) and flunking nearly everything without coursework, I think I might survive..

NAAHHH who am I kidding?

I could show my mum the report card of the smartest person in class and she’ll still be disappointed.

Honestly, I think my mum was only happy once with my results and that was when I got a 100 for BM .. YAAAYYY … in std 2

Sigh~

And the bad thing is she can’t decide whether to be angry or sad..

One moment she be screaming at me

“I SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO GET YOU INTO THAT SCHOOL!! I COULD HAVE GONE ON A LUXURY HOLIDAY RATHER THAN WASTING MY TIME !!!”

It goes longer but I am so not going to spend my time typing that out

Other times, she be so sad and she cried

Well obviously I wasn’t that heartless as some may believe…

So I cried too and promised to work harder and stuff

Now, if I were to cry, she would scold me which makes me cry more but that makes her even more angry.. .

“The world out there is harsh.. If you think this is hard, (humph) wait till you go to work.” or  “Why are you crying over silly things? You should toughen up and focus more on school.”

Yeah.. and people wonder why I supposedly emotionless

Wonder who did that to me..

Call Sherlock! (yes, being lame is so much better than be angry X3 though I think I’m more towards hyper)

You may think that all moms says this.. lemme give you an example of our conversation

*in the car*
mum: why didn’t you tell me there were computers in there?”

Me: well I did or I tried for the last hour

Mum: well who listens to what you have to say?

If she was angry or smth, it be slightly acceptable..

NOPE she was saying it in a matter-of-fact way

If she ever recalls that, I can bet you that she will say “I’m just preparing you for the worse things out there. Shrug it off.”

That is what she would say… well technically no .. there were many layers of sugarcoating…

Another “awesome” example would be homework..

“Did you finish your homework?”
My answer will naturally be “YYYESSSSS”
If I were to say No,

“Girl, then why are you out here watching TV? Go to your room and do your homework!”
“But I don’t know how.”

“Well, go figure it out! It’s not gonna be done with you sitting there”

“I need help.”

“GO FIGURE!”

(she hasn’t help me with homework since I was what std 5? If I asked, she glance at the book and toss it back to me giving the excuse “ I study this ages ago. How am I suppose to remember? This is why I love my aunt. She’s older than my mum but she would actually take the book and try to help me. Pity she’s in Aussie. =.= )
